Thomas Mepham is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Sequa Corporation. As a senior executive in the aerospace industry, Mr. Mepham has provided leadership across a broad range of sectors in commercial and military product lines and businesses. He has successfully expanded global businesses through organic growth and acquisition, led the green-field development of offshore manufacturing operations, and driven up revenues and profit margins in a variety of product sectors.
Previously Mr. Mepham was Senior Vice President of Power, Controls and Sensing Systems, and President, Sensors and Integrated Systems, at United Technologies. Earlier at Goodrich Corporation he held successive senior leadership assignments over a 15 year period. At Goodrich he held the role of President, Interiors, and earlier was President, Customer Services, and President, Cargo Systems. He joined Goodrich in 1996 as Vice President and General Manager, Sensors. Earlier he held management positions at Rockwell Collins and Honeywell Aerospace.
Mr. Mepham holds both a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. He is a member of the University of Iowa Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department Advisory Board.
Brian Costa is President of Chromalloy, providing leadership across all functions of the business to drive growth, revenue and profitability. He joined the company in 2016 as Vice President, Strategic Planning and Integration responsible for the SIOP, marketing and corporate communications functions. Prior to Chromalloy, he worked at United Technologies Aerospace Systems, leading business development, strategy and customer care for the aftermarket organization. Prior to that, he successfully managed global commercial and military shared services with Goodrich. Mr. Costa holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Ohio State University.
Kurt Russell joined Precoat Metals in 2010 as Vice President, Manufacturing with responsibility for providing strategic leadership for all facilities. He was promoted to the position of President 2016. Prior to joining Precoat, Kurt was the Director of US Manufacturing for Black & Decker’s Industrial Products Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Tech University.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Keith Howe is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sequa Corporation. As a top finance and business leader in industries including aerospace and defense, Mr. Howe joined Sequa in 2015 with a long and successful track record in all aspects of strategic and operational financial management. He was the top financial leader for several successful Carlyle Group portfolio companies, including Qualicaps, a pharmaceutical company. For several years prior to that he was the CFO of Vought Aircraft.
Mr. Howe earlier worked for more than 25 years at FMC Corporation and its successor company, United Defense Limited Partnership, in business and financial leadership roles that included General Manager of the Armament Systems division, CFO of the FNSS joint venture in Turkey, Controller of Armament Systems, and Business Manager of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle program.
He attended the U.S. Air Force Academy and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota. He holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Steven R. Lowson

Steven R. Lowson is Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of Sequa Corporation. Steven R. Lowson is Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of Sequa Corporation. His career with Sequa began in 1995, and he has held numerous positions in the Legal Department and on various committees. He has had a successful, broad-based career in a variety of legal and business disciplines. In addition to leading the Legal Department, he is responsible for the Company’s Compliance function, the management of legacy liabilities and was Chairman of the Ethics Committee for many years. Prior to joining Sequa in 1995, he was an Associate at the preeminent global law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, where he worked in both the New York City and Washington, DC, offices. Mr. Lowson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and a Juris Doctorate with honors from the Temple University School of Law.
Sadie Wackett is Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Sequa Corporation. Responsible for overall people and organizational development at the company, including Talent, Leadership and Development; Organizational Effectiveness and Design, Engagement and HR Service Delivery. She is passionate about enabling businesses to succeed by making the most of their resources and talent. Prior to joining the company in 2014 as Director, International Human Resources, she held management level HR positions across a wide range of industries including technology & engineering, consumer goods, manufacturing and media. Ms. Wackett has an MA in Personnel & Development from the University of Westminster in London, and a BA in French and European Studies from the University of Sussex, U.K.
Scott Anderson is Sr. Vice President Business Process for Sequa Corporation. In his current role, his scope of responsibility includes the critical Business Processes of IT, Procurement, Continuous Improvement, and EH&S for Sequa. Mr. Anderson joined the organization in 2016 as Vice President, Business & Financial Processes for Sequa & Chromalloy, bringing expertise in financial systems, reporting, accounting, compliance, M&A, and P&L to the company. Prior to joining Sequa, he held senior leadership roles in finance and operations with Sealed Air, United Technologies, Goodrich Corporation, and has extensive experience working in OEM new manufacturing and MRO Aerospace environments. Mr. Anderson holds an MBA from the University of Rochester, with a double major in finance and operations management, and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Fredonia.
